A Prandtl probe is one of the most frequently used instruments for velocity, and also flow rate measuring. It is based on measuring pressure difference between total pressure and static pressure of fluid in a particular point of fluid field.
 |
The most used version of Prandt tubes is type FD.
optional: mount and graduated dial
All tubes are manufactured out of brass and are nickel-plated.
(persistant up to 300°C)
or out of stainless steel (persistant up to 700°C) avaible.
